I met my wife at a television convention in Las Vegas.
I’m a Theater geek. I love to catch a Broadway show and am inspired by performances that think outside the box. My favorite is Punch drunk’s “Sleep No More.”
I love a good magic show. Favorites include Derren Brown, Derek DelGaudio’s In & Of Itself, Penn & Teller, Piff the Magic Dragon, Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream, Mac King, Jeff Hobson, Homer Liwag and David Copperfield.
While working at Today I’ve had the chance to direct a whole bunch of magic segments featuring: Matt Franco, Derren Brown (pictured), Jason Bishop, Greg Frewin (with Gay Blackstone), Adam Trent, Oz Pearlman, Dan Sperry, Scott Silven, Jason Silva, Rich Furguson, Dan White, and Jonathan Goodwin. I love Theme Park Design and immersive entertainment. Disney Imagineering and Universal Creative are always thinking outside the box, and looking for new ways to integrate technology.
I love speaking to students about how to succeed in our business. My Alma mater Hofstra was an amazing place that provided tons of experience and fantastic opportunities. I love to go back to campus and chat with a class whenever the opportunity arises.
